
The Kiphire district administration in association with Octave is all set to organise Summer Music Festival-cum-skill-mela for the second time. The three-day music festival cum skill mela will begin from June 19 till the 21st at the local ground Kiphire.
The skill mela is being organised in partnership with the department of employment, skill development and entrepreneurship; Government of Nagaland and Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission, a press release from the organisers informed.
The concluding day of the festival is said to coincide with the World Music Day which falls on June 21. Winner of Hornbill International Rock contest 2016 Search & Found (SNF) band will headline the World Music Day celebration with Crash and Burn band as the co-headliner.
The music festival will is also said to witness solo acts, dance, beat box and performances from the winner of Kiphire Rockaware 2011 Cliffers band.
