Dimapur, July 3 (EMN): The Kiphire district aspiration review meeting was conducted in the conference hall of deputy commissioner’s office on July 3.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Kiphire Mohammad Ali Shihab, called on the officers to be serious in their work and sought cooperation in order to take Kiphire district forward, a DPRO report stated.
SDO (civil) Wilfred gave power point presentation and highlighted on the aspiration of the district. He shared about the indicators, monitoring and computation of backward index to follow the developmental work programme. He said that district five years action plan is the strength of the community.
Wilfred also spoke on understanding convergence, health, and infrastructure. He mentioned that the poor functioning of lab is the biggest challenge facing in the district. He also said that in the aspirational hope in which the district have to come out with aspiring work to the state and central ministries and department for the further support and help.
Shelimthong representative of the YTC Kiphire district; vice president USLB administrator, Tsilise; and public information secretary of Eastern Sumi Hoho, Obeka spoke on behalf of the hohos. They requested the district officers to intimidate them for any grivenaces and also assured to extend full cooperation.
The additional director of Health & Family Welfare department in his short speech requested the Public Health and Engineering (PHED) department to give proper water connection in the new medical hospital building on priority basis. Personal secretary to the minister for Soil & Water Conservation Geology & Mining, Chopise Sangtam also spoke during the meeting.
Various departments in the district under aspiring presented their department profile highlighting their work process and which are in the pipeline.
