Nzano P Kikon inaugurating the first ever kids Christmas
carnival in Wokha town on Wednesday.
WOKHA — The first ever kids Christmas
carnival, organised by ‘The Gingerbread Squad,’ kicked off on Wednesday at Tiyi
hall in Wokha town. The event was attended by Nzano P Kikon, deputy chairperson
of Wokha Town Council (WTC).
- Speaking at the launch programme, Kikon appreciated the
organisers for their innovation, noting that the district typically hosts
carnival events for adults. She expressed that the first-time event specifically
for kids provides a wonderful opportunity for children to have fun and spend
time with their families during the holidays.
- He also extended Christmas greetings and success to the
organisers.
- The programme began with a prayer of blessings said by
Lijano Ezung, CNY associate Director of Wokha Town Baptist Church.
- The carnival would continue till December 24 from 12 noon to
6 pm.
