Kids Athletics Day held in Peren

DIMAPUR — The Peren District Athletics Association, in collaboration with the Nagaland Athletics Association, conducted Kids Athletics Day on May 7 at the local ground in New Jalukie, Peren. .

According to a press release, the event's theme was ‘World mile challenge’ and as part of the event, running races for boys and girls under the age of 14 were held separately in three categories: 4–7 years (30 metres), 8–11 years (50 metres), and 12–14 years (100 metres).

A total of 107 children from 14 schools participated in the competitions, with 70 boys and 37 girls taking part.
