Kidima Students’ Union holds freshers' day in Kohima

DIMAPUR — The Kidima Students’ Union (KSU) held its freshers’ day on Saturday at Grace Hall, Whito School, Lower Chandmari, Kohima.
According to an update, the event was attended by Vimeyiekho Vitso, former general secretary of the Angami Students’ Union, as the guest speaker. Representatives from the Angami Students’ Union and the Southern Angami Students’ Union also attended.

Speaking on the occasion, Vitso encouraged students to value their role as learners and to view academic success as a way to honour the sacrifices made by their parents.
He emphasised the importance of setting positive examples and pursuing excellence not only for personal success but also for the upliftment of family and community. He also urged students to uphold the values of their cultural heritage while striving for growth and development.
