Dimapur, May 21 (EMN): Thanksgiving Holy Mass was offered to Rev. Sr. Sulahele Teresa Kintso, Sisters of the Little Flower of Bethany (BS), North East Province, Guwahati, the first ever from Kidima village, to received final professional rituals.
Rev. Fr. Raymond D’Souza SJ, Director of Eden Garden and Children’s Home, Khuzama, the main celebrant performed the ceremony with Rev. Fr. Thomas Muttathil, Parish Priest at Kidima Council Hall on May 1.
Rev. Raymond in the introductory note said thanksgiving offered for Holy Mass expressed gratitude for the service to Church, people and God. Gratitude was the first thing in human heart concentrated to God with thanks, he added.
Referring to the parable of God’s hiding in no place except in human’s heart, Rev. Raymond called upon the gathering to do good work for needy people which is fruit of God in this world. He also recalled the commandment to love one another and asked the believers the generous. Rev. also asked the parents not to stop their children to God’s call.
Rev. Sr (Dr) Harsha, Superior of BS cum Principal of St Joseph’s Higher Secondary School, Viswema highlighted the history of congregation.
Rev. Sr. Sulahele shared her testimony how she joined the Catholic faith being Baptist denomination family background.
Assistant Catechist Methasü Ezekiel offered prayer for Sr. Sulahele, while former Catechist, Vitsu Martin gave a brief introduction of the Sister.
Special numbers were presented by children, youth, women and Kidima Catholic Juniors.
Rev. Fr Charles D’ Souza SJ, Parish Priest of Mary Help of Christians, Rev. Fr Victor D’Mello SJ, Principal of Loyola Higher Secondary School, Jakhama and Catholic community from Southern Angami villages and well wishers joined the sacred ceremony.
