Kichilimi Baptist Church to celebrate centenary jubilee

DIMAPUR — The Kichilimi Baptist Church, affiliated with Sümi Aphuyemi Baptist Akukuhou Küqhakulu (SABAK), Pughoboto, is scheduled to celebrate its 100th anniversary on December 28 and 29, this year, on the theme ‘Tekhoive keu kupulu’.

According to an update, on January 6 and 7, members of the church observed fasting, prayers, and other related activities to mark the start of the centenary jubilee year, with Shikashe Chishi, pastor, hoisting the jubilee flag.

Rev. Dr. Kivito Achumi, director of DAHC, and Dr. Kalito H Kiho, principal of Government College Zunheboto, dedicated and inaugurated the jubilee memorial at the pastor's residence on the occasion, while Hoshito Assumi, chairman of the jubilee planning board, extorted the gathering. 

To commemorate the jubilee year, the church, in collaboration with the village councils, has also prohibited all forms of hunting and fishing in the village jurisdiction. Furthermore, the members of the church have requested everyone's prayers for the success of the forthcoming programme.
