Khruzoto Tetseo is King of Naga Wrestle Mania

Our Principal Correspondent Kohima, November 4 Khruzoto Tetseo Khulazu Basa village, Phek district today emerged as the new champion of the Naga Wrestle Mania-3, King of the Ring Series 2014 organised by Elite Entertainment Enterprise, 3E at Kohima Local Ground. Competing the final bout, Khruzoto defeated Neitsielie Zhünyü of Sechu-Zubza, Kohima by 2-1. Interesting, in the final bout, it was Neitsielie knocking Khruzoto down in the first bout. But, Khruzoto won the second and deciding bout to become the King of Naga Wrestle Mania-3.Winning King of the Ring Series, Khruzoto received Rs. 75,000 with bike, wrestling belt and citation as the champion while runners-up Neitsielie received Rs. 50,000 cash and citation while semi-finalist Vizobeilie and Seketoukho got Rs. 20,000 each with citation. In the junior category, which had 17 young enthusiasts, witnessed Muleyo Medeo emerging champion while Vese Phesao bagged runners-up. Champion bagged Rs. 10,000 with citation, runners-up Rs. 3,000 with citation. Kevisilhu Mesaye was adjudged with the best tactic award. M. Khampei Konyak and Rukukhoto Kotso were the semi-finalist and received Rs. 2,000 each respectively. President of Nagaland Contractors’ & Suppliers Union and Founder/Controller Nagaland Taekwondo Association, Pele Khezhie witnessing the series as special invitee gave away the prizes to the winners.
