Kohima, June 30 (EMN): The Dolhuni Dziivi-u Golato (DDG) Kikramia, a peer group of Khonoma, has organised a felicitation cum thanksgiving programme in honour of Theja Meru on June 28 at Hotel Japfu, Kohima, on his recent appointment as advisor of Music Task Force.
DDG Kikramia expressed gratitude to PDA government under the leadership of the State Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, for bestowing honour to one of its members from Khonoma village.
DDG president, Vidilhulie Punyü urged Theja Meru to render his best service to push music industry forward in the State.
Theja Meru, in his speech, attributed all his achievements to God. He assured to serve the people in the best possible way and further sought guidance, support and cooperation from everyone.
Kenneth Punyü, Akhrie Mor, and others also spoke on the occasion.
The programme was chaired by Mhieneizoto Meyase.
