Khar vill gets Bamboo Craft Shed

EMN DIMAPUR, MAY 2 As part of its enterprise development initiative of the Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency, Khrienuo C. Metha, Secretary (GON) & Team Leader, Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency inaugurated a ‘Bamboo Craft Working Shed’ in Khar village, Mokokchung district on May 6. Through this initiative, the NBDA is hopeful that the people of this region will be benefited immensely so far as promotion and development of Bamboo craft are concerned with the timely providence of this working shed in the village. The inauguration programme was chaired by Alem Longkumer, member NBM-IT. The invocation prayer was pronounced by pastor Lanukumzuk of Khar Baptist Church and the welcome address was delivered by Imtinungba, chairman of Khar Village Council. The key-note address on the occasion was given by Er. Lipokmeren Ao, member NBM-IT, informed a release issued by Dr. Tolto Metha, member, NBM-IT, NBDA.
