Kohima, Sep. 12 (EMN): Gas For Trees (GFT), a franchise of Kangla Gas Solutions (KGS) Pvt. Ltd., Manipur was inaugurated on Monday by Akhom Birendra Singh, Chairman of KGS Pvt. Ltd. products and services at Sepfuzou Colony, High School road in Kohima.
The chairman highlighted the importance of LPG and composite fibre cylinders, stating that it is explosion-proof and the company will give one free cylinder refill to the customer who refills 11 times in a year.
He shared that KGS envisions opportunities for Northeast India, and Kohima is the second centre after Manipur, while adding that it will also launch in Assam and other states in the region.
During the inaugural programme, Singh shared that the process of setting up KGS began in 2017 and was subsequently inaugurated on February 14, 2022 by Rajkumar Ranjan, Minister of State for Ministry of Education and External Affairs in Imphal.
Thockchom Ratan, Board of Director, KGS in his short speech stated that the inauguration of the GFT centre in Kohima not just marks business expansion but will also improve the relationship between Manipur and Nagaland.
He expressed optimism that the KGS will provide a smart solution to the customers, while assuring that there will be no shortage of cylinders.
Meanwhile, Neichute Doulo, Nagaland state franchisee for KGS, shared that GFT will introduce a business model that will deliver cooking gas to the ‘kitchen of consumers’ and make the process hassle-free with on-the-spot registration of consumers besides home delivery.
He also shared that the composite fibre cylinders will ensure safety in homes, as it is completely explosion-proof and light weight, making it easy for women and even the elderly to use.
Doulo, who is also the CEO of The Entrepreneurs Associates (tEA), stated that the inauguration marks the fulfillment of his long term vision of ensuring cooking solutions that will reduce the felling of trees for firewood in many Naga homes, adding that the GFT will support the initiative of tEA’s mission in planting 1 billion fruit trees by 2050.
Pastor Kedo Peseyie, Pastor, City Church, offered the dedicatory prayer and shared that “Business is God’s idea to prosper its people.”
