
DIMAPUR — Following the growing public demand, Kentucky Fried Chicken, popularly known as KFC, has opened new outlet at Darogapathar under Chümoukedima district on Friday, which was inaugurated by the minister of Tourism, Temjen Imna Along.
Speaking at the inaugural programme, Imna Along has termed as a big achievement for a state like Nagaland, which manifested the growing economy. Citing instances on the growth of business activities between Dhansiripar and Chümoukedima in the last five years, Imna Along lauded the business community for their efforts to uplift the economy of the people.
Stating that KFC has become synonymous with both the young and old, he called upon the residents of the colony to take pride in having the outlet.
Sanjeev Borah, head business development Northeastern India Devyani International Ltd., informed that it was the 6th KFC outlet in Nagaland and the 51st outlet in Northeast India.
The proprietor of the outlet is Kuchi R Zeliang.
The dedicatory prayer was said by Rev. Robert Kikon, senior pastor of Father’s House Church-Global.
