Dimapur, Dec. 28 (EMN): Kezoma village students’ union (KVSU) has celebrated its 50th years anniversary of existence on December 27 and 28 on the theme “Gratitude and Reviviscence” at Kezoma council hall.
Unveiling the 50th anniversary monolith on December 27, advisor of youth resources and sports, Er. Zale Neikha, was optimistic that the celebration of KVSU 50th glorious years would go a long way in ushering peace and oneness. He urged upon the students to maintain punctuality and discipline to excel in their academic career.
He also challenged the students to study hard and also develop the habit of asking questions in order to clear doubts and also gather more knowledge. Er. Zale urged the students to choose the right course after graduation and also go for coaching for competitive exams.
Stating that job avenue in the government sector has reached saturation point, he called upon the educated unemployed youth to engage themselves in the entrepreneurial activities for gainful employment.
Earlier, Kezoma village council chairman, Puhovi Tase, vice president of Angami Students’ Union (ASU) Petekhrietuo Kiewhuo, president of Southern Angami Students’ Union (SASU) Ketholeto Anthony Zashiimo, and president of Kezoma Gazetted Officers Krotho Kroneicho Naki shared greetings.
KVSU president, Ruokuo Noho, delivered presidential address while the inaugural function was chaired by organising committee convenor Kikrosa Naki.
Medongol Thami, pastor of Kezoma Baptist Church, was the guest speaker on day one. President of Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) Kesosiil Christopher Ltu graced the valedictory session.
