A one-day workshop on cooperatives and income generation on detergent washing powder and dish wash (gel) making was organised by NCUI Project, Kohima, sponsored by the Department of Cooperation on April 29 at Khezhakeno village community hall with B Bumo Khiamniungan, Joint Registrar of Cooperative Societies, as the guest speaker.
In his speech, the guest speaker spoke on the principles and objectives of cooperatives. Short speech was delivered by Kepfelhou, chairman of Village council Khezhakeno, where he thanked the Department of Cooperation and NCUI Project for organising such a befitting programme, which is the first of its kind, for the rural people especially for the women folks. The vote of thanks was delivered by. Peter, CEI, NCUI Kohima. The second session of the programme was on income generation on detergent washing powder and dish wash (gel) making which was demonstrated by Ms Keneivono Rhakho, a successful entrepreneur.
