Kenye urges district officers to ardently serve people

Dimapur, Oct. 22 (EMN): Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and co-chairman of Disha, Nagaland, KG Kenye, who is also the parliamentary standing committee member on Food, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution and Consultative Committee member on Rural Development, addressed the District Development Co-ordination and Monitoring Committee meeting in Phek on October 21.

In the meeting, Kenye called upon the district officers to take defined role while serving the people of the district. He also urged the officers to utilise the opportunity and effectively implement centrally-sponsored schemes.

Recalling the village development board programme conceptualised by AM Gokhale while serving as the deputy commissioner of Phek, he made an appeal to all the officers to set good footprints.
