Dimapur, June 20 (EMN): Hutansh Verma has presented a portrait of captain N Kenguruse, recipient of Maha Vir Chakra, to his family members at Kohima on June 19.
The Assam Rifles press release stated that Neiselie (father), Dinuo Kenguruse (mother), Khrisaneisa Kenguruse and Shuiviketulie Kenguruse (brothers) and Neingutolie Kenguruse (sister) of captain N Kenguruse and Col. Surender Kumar, commandant of Chieswema battalion were present at the event.
‘Portraits of Patriots’ is an endearing initiative led by Hutansh Verma that came into existence in May 2014. He sketches and paints portraits of the brave heroes who have made supreme sacrifice for the nations cause. He works with a hope to bring about a sense of solidarity and moral support to the family of martyrs.
So far ‘Portraits of Patriots’ has presented 49 portraits of the brave soldiers. In his latest endeavour, he has painted portrait of captain N Kenguruse, MVC.
