DIMAPUR — Fitness has always been Keneilelie Sorü’s passion, fuelled by childhood dreams of action stars and Arnold Schwarzenegger's iconic bodybuilding movies. He began working out in Class 11, and that spark ignited a journey that led him to pursue multiple trainer certifications after completing his coaching.
Born and raised in Delhi, he completed his schooling there and went on to graduate from Motilal Nehru College, South Campus, Delhi University. Following his family's expectations, he did his UPSC coaching and attempted a few exams. However, his true calling was in fitness. Eventually, he mustered the courage to open up to his family about his aspirations, and he is now dedicated to making a name for himself in this field.
As a professional bodybuilder, his key career milestones include winning the IBBFF Mr. India Overall Champion title in 2022 with two gold medals, securing silver medals at IFBB Mr. Universe 2022 and IBBF Mr. India 2021, and claiming medals in over 20 state and national shows—notably being the first Naga bodybuilder to win at the national level from Nagaland. He is also the co-owner of Bodycraft Urban Gym in Dimapur.
