Kendriya Vidyalaya organises regional level Kala Utsav

Dimapur, Dec. 8 (EMN): Kendriya Vidyalaya Dimapur virtually organised a regional-level “Kala Utsav- 2020” on December 8.

The opening ceremony began with a welcome song presented by students of Kendriya Vidyalaya Dimapur followed with a welcome address delivered by the school principal Umesh Chandra.

An update from the school stated that the chief guest and assistant commissioner of KVS RO Tinsukia, SV Joglekar, motivated and blessed the students. He also expressed his thought on the importance of art and music in one’s life.

On the occasion, competitions on vocal music (classical), vocal music (folk), instrumental music (classical), instrumental music (folk), classical dance, folk dance, visual art 2D, visual art 3D, indigenous toys and games were conducted.

The report stated that all the competitions were organised virtually on Google meet under the guidance of Umesh Chandra and Dr VS Gurjar, PGT Hindi and in-charge of the events.
