Kohima, Jan. 8 (EMN): Kekhrie Yhoshü and Neisato Bio emerged as champions of the senior and junior categories of the Naga wrestling organised by the Kigwema Youth Organisation (KYO) at the 82nd annual sports meet, held at Kigwema ground, Kholera in Kohima district on Saturday.

Kekhrie Yhoshü emerged as champion in the senior category while Aleto Yhoshü, Ketouvilie Kere and Menosale Kere won the second, third and fourth positions respectively.

In the junior category, Neisato Bio was declared the winner with Avizo Phira, Visabu Yhoshü and Khriesakhoto Pfükha as the runners-up.

The KYO sports commenced on Jan. 4 with Medo Yhokha, advisor for Technical Education and Election and chairman, DPDB, Kohima as the guest speaker at the inaugural function.

It concluded today with Balie Kire, chairman of Kigwema Village as the match patron.
