KOHIMA, August 27 (EMN): Kohima District Legal Services Authority (KDLSA) conducted a legal awareness programme for the Sunday School children of City Church, Kohima, and the Ao Baptist Church Kohima AG Fellowship on August 27.
At Ao Baptist Church, Wapangienla, panel lawyer KDLSA, discussed on the topic “Child Labour Act 1986,” “Juvenile Justice Act 2000,” “Prohibition of Child Marriage Act 2006,” “RTE and Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act 2012 and Cyber Crime.
The programme was chaired by Yangpila Anar, panel lawyer KDLSA.
At the City Church, Apila Sangtam, panel lawyer of KDLSA, spoke on POCSO Act 2012 and JJ Act 2015, while Ms Nancy Lotha, panel lawyer KDLSA, spoke on cyber crimes.
Meanwhile, Hekali, Sunday School Superintendent, has thanked the KDLSA for organising such awareness programme, which she mentioned, was the need of the hour.
