NSUJ informs parents Kaziranga University campus is safe, urging them to send students back after precautionary evacuation.

KOHIMA — The Naga Students’ Union Jorhat (NSUJ) has informed parents of students studying at Kaziranga University that they may send their children back to the campus, stating that the situation has returned to normal.
In a note signed by NSUJ president Mughaka Kiba and general secretary Chibenthung Ezung, the union said that the concern which had earlier led to the precautionary evacuation of students has been addressed and necessary measures have been taken to ensure their safety.

Parents were advised that students can now resume classes without fear, while the union assured that it will continue to remain vigilant and extend support to the students.
Speaking to Eastern Mirror, the NSUJ president said that no students have returned yet, but they are expected to rejoin after the Durga Puja break.
