  • DIPHU —  In a gesture of goodwill, the Karbi Students' Association (KSA-Inglongpho) provided travel support in the form of financial assistance to 60 aspirants from Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong, who are sitting for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) at various examination centres in the region.

  • The test, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), is a single window for admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programmes in central and participating universities across India. The event was held at the KSA Central Committee office in Rongthe-ang, Diphu.
  •
  • KSA general secretary Barnabas Killing stated that due to the lack of a CUET examination centre in Karbi Anglong, a Sixth Schedule district of Assam, students face difficulties every year, and some are unable to afford the expenses. However, Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Tuliram Ronghang, extended financial support to the CUET aspirants.
