- DIPHU — The Karbi
Anglong and West Karbi Anglong district have performed exceedingly done well
among other districts in the higher secondary final examinations 2025 conducted
by the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), Division-II, erstwhile
AHSEC, which was declared on Wednesday.
- In the Arts stream, Karbi Anglong recorded a 64% pass
percentage, while West Karbi Anglong achieved 81.20%. Other districts that
performed well included Baksa (94.21%), Darrang (93.82%), and Sivasagar
(90.78%).
- In the Science stream, West Karbi Anglong topped with 100%
pass percentage, followed by Sivasagar (97.13%) and Baksa (95%). Karbi Anglong
secured 65% pass percentage.

- In the Commerce stream, West Karbi Anglong excelled with a
97.14% pass percentage, while Karbi Anglong secured 80.57%.
- Notably, South Salmara achieved 100% pass percentage,
followed by Baksa (98.20%) and Chirang (98.15%).¬¬¬¬
- The executive member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council
(KAAC) in-charge of Education department, Richard Tokbi, in his social media
pose wrote, “West Karbi Anglong secured impressive 100 % pass percentage in
Science stream in Assam HS Result 2025. Kudos to all the teachers and students
for this magnificent achievement. Congratulations.”
