Diphu, April 4 (EMN): In a major breakthrough, Karbi Anglong police arrested three car lifters during a regular naka check at Manja in Karbi Anglong on Monday evening.
According to the police information, a suspicious Baleno vehicle bearing registration number UP15DM 0963 was coming from Bokalia and heading towards Dimapur. A thorough check of the vehicle documents, engine and chassis number revealed it to be a stolen vehicle.
The apprehended persons were identified as Sangita Yadav, Ravinder Yadav and Aashish Choudhary, all hailing from Uttar Pradesh.
