Diphu, July 22 (EMN): In order to pressurize the government of India regarding the “Assam State Re-organisation (Karbi Dimachal) Bill 2016” under the readymade provision of the Article 244(A) of the Indian Constitution in the current summer session 2017.
The leaders and members of Karbi Anglong North Cachar Hills Autonomous State Demand Committee (KANCHASDCOM), Karbi Students’ Association (KSA), Karbi Riso Adorbar (KRA), Karbi So-Arlo Amei (KARSA) and Karbi Unemployed Youth Association (KUYA) has left for Delhi on Friday night 10:30 PM from Diphu Railways station.
According to a press released by added by Secretary KANCHASDCOM Sing Timung, the organisations will be holding dharna cum cultural procession at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on 24 July, to pressurized the central government to pass ‘Assam State Re-organisation (Karbi Dimachal) Bill, 2016’ and to demand Autonomous State of both Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasoa.
