DIPHU — To promote and preserve Karbi language, the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) distributed appointment letters to 19 newly appointed Karbi language teachers for recognised middle and high schools.


The appointment letters were given away by KAAC chief executive member, Tuliram Ronghang, during a programme held at the KAAC old secretariat conference hall in Diphu town on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Ronghang informed that all the vacant posts of Karbi language teacher in Karbi Anglong would be filled irrespective of lower, middle and high school. He also congratulated the newly appointed teachers and emphasised the crucial role they play in shaping the future of Karbi language and culture.


"Best wishes as you take on the crucial responsibility of preserving and promoting the Karbi language; your efforts will be truly meaningful," said Ronghang.

The programme was attended by Member of Parliament Amarsing Tisso, Diphu MLA Bidyasing Engleng, Howraghat MLA Darsing Ronghang, along with KAAC executive members and MAC.
