Dimapur, September 15: The Kalos in collaboration with 9th Assam Rifles will be organising the 2nd Kalos Peace Marathon for both men and women on September 24 under the theme “Run for peace and unity.” Kalos is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) based in Pfutsero.
The marathon route for men will start at Chida Post Junction near Khezhakeno, while the route for women will start at Lasumi village marketing shed. The finishing point for both men and women will be at Pfutsero Sports Complex.
A cash prize of Rs. 10,000, Rs. 7000 and Rs. 5000 will be awarded to first, second and third winners under men category while a cash prize of Rs. 8000, Rs. 6000 and Rs. 4000 for first, second and third winners to be given for women category, consolation prizes to be given to participants for both the categories.
