Kachari club football tourney concludes

DIMAPUR, AUGUST 1 : The 4th Kachari Club Football Tournament 2016, culminated on August 1 at Kachari Sports Complex, Darogajan-Kushiabill in Dimapur. The closing ceremony was graced by S I Jamir, Advisor Urban Development, the guest of honour was Ramesh Hasnu, president of Kachari Tribal Council, Nagaland. Jamir in his speech stressed that Kachari should involve its youth in sports with full confidence and enthusiasm. He also mentioned that Kachari were recognized tribe in Nagaland and should not feel inferior in any course of time and action.Sixteen Kachari youth football clubs participated in the tournament. Amaluma Youth Club took the trophy home and Dhansiripar Youth Club emerged as the runner-up. The best disciplined team was awarded to Padampukhuri Youth Club, Dimapur.
