Diphu, March 21 (EMN): A joint protest demonstration was taken out by the Karbi Students Association (KSA), Diphu District committee and KSA Manja Branch in and around Manja area on March 21 Wednesday. The protest was against the state interference into KAAC special TET.
Talking to the media persons, Anderson Kro, President KSA, Diphu District committee said that special TET must be conducted by the KAAC authority without state interference.
Also, he said that full exemptions of B.ed and D.El.ED for the applicants and 100% reservation for the indigenous inhabitants of the Sixth Schedule of Karbi Anglong should be made.
The procession was started from its office premises and leading toward Manja Market and back to Manja Police station and submitted a memorandum to Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Chief Executive Member through the Manja Police station, officer in charge Kalpajit Sharmah.
