K-Pop singer Jang Hanbyul enthrals fans in Kohima

[caption id="attachment_262046" align="aligncenter" width="565"] Jang Hanbyul performing at The Heritage, Kohima on July 23.[/caption] Korean singer Jang Hanbyul once again enthralled K-Pop fans in Nagaland on the last day of his Summer Star Tour. He performed at a ‘fan meet and mini-concert’, here at the Heritage in Kohima on July 23. The four-day “Summer Star Tour” with Hanbyul was initiated by Musik-A. The Korean singer first performed in Dimapur on July 20, Diphu on July 21 and then in Kohima on Tuesday. During the question and answer session, Hanbyul said that his best memory in the state was the helicopter ride from Dimapur to Kohima where he could view the beauty of the place. He said that he hasn’t seen “such a beautiful place.” He also admitted that fans in Nagaland, are “crazy”. Apart from family support, performing in front of the cheering and supportive fans is love, according to him. Further, he advised his fans to never take things for granted. The singer also shared that it took him one and half year for voice training and five months in choreography.

MTF announces ‘The Think Fest’ and ‘The Open House’

Saying that the youngsters, aspiring and professional musicians, artists etc. had a big role to play in the new policy of Music Task Force (MTF), Advisor Music Task Force Theja Meru announced two new initiatives that will take place soon. He said MTF will soon launched ‘The Open House’ in all district. In this initiative, he said MTF will sponsor and encourage artists, musicians, dancers etc. and reach out to all the corners of the state. MTF will also start “the think fest”, where “best of the best” musicians and artists will be brought to train the upcoming and aspiring youngsters, he said. He added that the team met AR Rahman recently and was invited to attend his concert scheduled on August 10. He encouraged youngsters to learn good things about other cultures.
