Kohima, Dec. 27 (EMN): Khulazu Basa Baptist Church in Phek district celebrated its 75th anniversary which coincided with a Christmas program, at Khulazu Basa village. The programme was conducted with the theme ‘Glorify the Lord’ during Dec. 23- 25.
The speakers of the occasion included Rev. Dr. Vezopa Tetseo, executive secretary of the Chakhesang Baptist Church Council; Rev. Cefuyi Keyho, missionary in Jonai of Assam; Kevemeri Keyho, missionary in Bareilly of UP; Satahi Chuzho, CDPO of Pfutsero; and Kehuve Chuzho, a local pastor.
Rev. Dr. Vezopa Tetseo spoke on the theme. He encouraged the congregation to glorify God as they celebrate the attainment of 75 years of Christianity. He reminded the gathering to be responsible Christians by rebuilding relationships and reconnecting with God as the church grows.
