Juggernauts CC beat Hercules CC to win T20 WCC

Wokha, Jan. 18 (EMN): Juggernauts CC, the reigning champions, won the 24th edition of T20 WCC on Saturday by beating Hercules CC in the final.

Winning the toss, Hercules CC opted to bat first and put up a target of 96 runs (all out) in 18.4 overs.

However, Juggernauts CC chased down the low total in just 15.5 overs and won the match by six wickets. Sunny (51 runs) and Himanshu (22 runs) were the main contributors for the team.

Sunny of Juggernauts CC bagged the Man of the match award for half century knock and two-wicket haul.

Mhathung Tsanglao, ADC Wokha, congratulated the finalists at the closing ceremony of the event.

The oldest cricket tournament in the state will be celebrating golden jubilee in December 2020.
