JSSN is society registered socio-educational organisation which is running some formal and non-formal institutions in Nagaland. JSSN publicity committee stated that its organising secretary Pankaj Sinha and the executive member Lanuwapang Tzudir visited five villages in Kiphire district, four villages in Mon district, five villages in Longleng district, five villages in Tuensang district, two villages in Mokokchung district and one each in Peren and Dimapur districts from July 21 to August 7 and distributed educational kit to every student. It stated that the respective area education officers guided the JSSN team and had interaction with the teachers, SMC chairmen and GBs in all the villages. The team was told that it is first time that an NGO visited GPS/GMS and distributed school kits without any help from government. The team also motivated teachers on their noble profession in nurturing the lives of students. The team expounded that teachers are the only persons who could transform a students to be scientist, professor, engineer, doctor, businessman, prime minister, chief minister, minister and a good citizen. Teachers are told to develop techniques for an ideal teaching-learning process. The team reasoned why GPS/GMS could not be developed or build like a private education institution and why not the children of officers, ministers, rich persons etc. take admission in GPS/GMS? The team encouraged the stakeholders to develop GPS/GMS together and not only depend on government. JSSN executive member Lanuwapang informed that JSSN is just an NGO with focus in the field of education.
