Dimapur, Dec. 9 (EMN): Keneizhakho Nakhro, MLA, 8th Western Angami Assembly Constituency, inaugurated the Jotsoma Village Gate, along the bypass road in Jotsoma on December 9.

According to a DIPR update, the gate was built by the ‘Thejavakhrie Tshü,’ a social group comprising of villagers from Jotsoma village in the age group between 60 to 65 years.

Nakhro stated that the construction of the village gate was 'significant' as it demarcates Jotsoma village with the adjoining village, 'to have a clear boundary and avoid misunderstanding on boundary issues later on'.

He appreciated the group for building the gate and added that their exemplary work would be a 'guiding light for the village.'
