DIMAPUR — A joint inspection team of the concerned department, contractor firm M/s Yanna Enterprise, Konyak Union, Naganimora unit, led by its president, five village council chairmen and village leaders of Naganimora division and Nagaland Foothills Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) on August 16 inspected the ongoing Foothills Road construction site in Naganimora, Mon district.
The chairmen and the leaders of the five villages appreciated the PWD (Road & Bridges) and contractor firm for cohesively carrying forward the Foothills Road construction in Naganimora division, the NFHRCC stated in an update.

The village leaders also lauded the NFHRCC for its tireless efforts in pushing for the successful completion of the Foothills Road connectivity project from Tizit to Khelrna. They urged the NFHRCC to continue monitoring and supervising the project’s progress alongside the relevant department until its successful completion.
They further assured their fullest support to the committee for the sacrifices that the committee had been shouldering since 2013.
“So far, only 30% of the allocated works had been completed; however, the contractor firm had confidently assured the joint inspection team that they will complete the work by November 2025 positively,” the update added.
