DIMAPUR — The Joint Council Welfare Forum (JCWF) of Ward 3 and Ward 22, Burma Camp, Dimapur, has strongly condemned an incident involving a group of unidentified youths who created disorder and public disturbance over a petty issue at Burma Camp Bazaar on October 17.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the JCWF expressed deep concern over the unruly behaviour, describing it as irresponsible and disruptive, and emphasised that such acts have no place in a society that values peace, unity, and mutual respect.
“We stand united in ensuring that our area remains a safe and inclusive space for all people. Any act of violence, intimidation, or public disorder will not be tolerated, and we will continue to work closely with local authorities to ensure the well-being of all members, irrespective of tribe or colour,” it read.
