DIMAPUR — A job fair under the Ministry of Labour & Employment jointly organised and led by National Career Service for Centre for SC/ST, Kohima, Regional Employment Exchange (MCC) Kohima, AIDA, Don Bosco Job Placement Network, Dimapur, was held at the Regional Employment Exchange Kohima (MCC), Directorate of Employment SDE, Kohima, on Tuesday.
Sub-Regional Employment Officer, National Career Service for Centre for SC/ST Kohima, RS Siipuni Pou, stated that regular job fairs are organised to connect unemployed job seekers with various companies across the state and country, providing them with employment opportunities, a DIPR report stated.
The candidates seeking for these jobs are first screened and interviewed before being employed.
Pou also informed that five companies, including Chillibreeze, Talent Acquaintance, SBI Life, T Tec (online Interview) and Apex Motor Enterprise, Dimapur, are participating in the job fair, offering recruitment opportunities to job seekers through interviews.
