JNV organises training on skill development

Dimapur, Sep. 8 (EMN): Jawahar Navodaya Vidhyalaya (JNV), Kohima, conducted a one-day training on skill development and entrepreneurship on September 7. The training was organised and sponsored by the managing chairman of JNV, Kohima, Shaying Sheu, SDO (C), Kohima, and the school authority. Resource persons from the department of Cooperative Society conducted hands-on training and demonstrated on how to prepare and make washing powder and dish washing gel. A DIPR report stated that more than 250 number of students and teachers of JNV Kohima attended the hands-on training cum demonstration programme. After the training-cum-demonstration programme, a session on entrepreneurship and self-employment was also conducted to encourage the students and teachers start their own business and to become entrepreneurs. The main idea behind conducting the training was to encourage the students to start business on their own and sustain themselves.
