Mokokchung, July 2: Jubilee Memorial College (JMC), a newly established college under the aegis of Mokokchung Town Baptist Arogo today celebrated its first Fresher’s day at Cosmos Entertainment Hall.
Welcoming a host of new students to college, Akumyala, Principal of JMC encouraged them that the three year s time they invest here should shape the whole person in them as the three years are most formative years in their lives.
“Build positive attitude to succeed in life,” principal said.
Stating that there is no one to spoon feed them, she urged the students to take wise decision in life and try to achieve excellence in whatever they do.
Meanwhile, a fresher, Tiajungla B.A. first semester spoke on behalf of the fresh students.
Later, entertainment items were presented by the students. The main attraction was the selection of the Mr & Miss Fresher. Wapongtemjen Imsong (BA 1st Semester) and Imtisenla Logkumer (BA 1st Semester) were selected as the Mr and Miss Fresher respectively.
