Dimapur, June 9 (EMN): A group called the 'Jesus Youth of Nagaland' conducted what a press release from the Bishop of Kohima said was "commitment and recommitment day," on June 9 in Kohima.
'During the ceremony 81 Jesus Youth members made their pledge of commitment and recommitment in the presence of Bishop James Thoppil,' the press release from the bishop's establishment stated.
In his homily, the bishop highlighted the power of the Holy Spirit, the note stated. He added that 'we ought to be filled with the Spirit of God to do Good in the society.' He congratulated the Nagaland Jesus Youth team for its effort to keep alive the youth ministry by the way of serving the church in their capacity of upholding the values of Christianity,' the press release added.
