JEE (Main) application deadline extended

Dimapur, March 8 (EMN): National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date for submission of online application form for Joint Entrance Examination (Main) to March 12 (up to 5 pm) on its website (https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/webinfo/public/home.aspx). The application for JEE (Main) was originally supposed to close on March 6. The entrance exam is scheduled to be held on April 5, 7, 9 and the 11^th, and is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTI), institutions funded by participating state governments, and other institutions. Candidates are selected based on the performance in the class 12 or equivalent qualifying examination and in the JEE (Main).
