Dimapur, June 3 (EMN): The Janata Dal (JD; United) has constituted North East Executive Council (Neec), for the party, with its headquarters at Guwahati, on June 2 Saturday. A note from the party informed that the party’s president, Nitish Kumar, has accorded approval to the constitution of the Neec.
According to a press release, the council for NEEC comprises of five members including Chairman Senchumol Lotha and Member Secretary Hangkhanpao Taithul.
“The president of the other NE states will be member of NEEC as and when their own state unit of JD (U) is formed respectively,’ the press release added.
