Dimapur, Aug. 21 (EMN): The Janata Dal (United) has informed that its advocate has issued a legal notice to NDPP president Chingwang Konyak and G Kaito Aye, Minister for Agriculture, Nagaland (returnable within 30 days) after they failed to offer a public apology for allegedly making a false claim about the party.
“The legal notice is in regard to the false claim of merger of the JDU Nagaland Unit with the NDPP by the NDPP in the presence of Chief Minister, Nagaland on 24th June and the developments that followed after,” read the statement issued by Mohammad Nisar, coordinator (publicity and programme).
