Dimapur, Feb. 3 (EMN): The Joint Co-ordination Committee of Villages (JCCV) under Dhansiripar sub-division has resolved to hold a mass public rally on February 10 at Dhansiripar at 10 am against the government’s silence and culminate with submission of representation to the government through SDO (C) of Dhansiripar for review of the government’s notification dated December 20 without further delay.
The resolution to this effect was taken during an emergency meeting held on February 3. The house resented the silence of the state government on the grievances of 45 villages communicated through a public representations submitted by Aqahuto Tokukujo Kukami Kuqhakulu on November 13, 2021, Sema-Dimasa Union of Dhansiripar sub-division on December 22, 2021, and Dimasa Public Organisation on January 4, 2022, in connection with the jurisdiction notified to the newly created district of Chümoukedima.
The statement was jointly issued by JCCV convenor Lughozhe Swu, co-convenor Tsithrongse Sangtam, and secretary Devendra Rana.
