
DIMAPUR — As a part of Janbhagidari programme, Government Higher Secondary School in Pungro organised an essay writing competition on Wednesday on the topic ‘Importance and relevance of G20 in contemporary politics with special reference to India’s presidency.’
An update from the school informed that a total of 43 students from class 12 participated in the event.
It stated that Khevieyule Vanyalien K secured the first position, while Phangremew and Manisha Kumari secured the second and third positions respectively. The post graduate teachers of the school namely G Omega Sema, Zachelo Wetsah and Tansola were the judges of the competition.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]In a related programme, the office of the District Employment Officer (DEO) and Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Tuensang, organised a series of events from June 1 to the 15.
An update from DEO stated that a career counseling and registration/ awareness of job-seekers was organised on June 7 and 14 at ITI Tuensang, wherein the DEO, T Yimlikhumzuk, spoke on the importance of career guidance, choosing the right career path according to one's interests, aptitude and developing skills as per the job available in the job market. He also held a session on the preparedness for various interviews.
Altogether, 58 trainees attended the career counseling session.
