Jan Shikshan Sansthan Kiphire launches 2025–26 skill training

KIPHIRE — Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS) Kiphire, under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, recently conducted its annual executive meeting to launch skill training programmes for the year 2025–26.

During the meeting, Tsadiba Sangtam, director of JSS Kiphire, emphasised the organisation's commitment to empowering individuals with certified skills in various sectors, according to an update by JSS Kiphire.

This initiative aims to enable them to secure sustainable livelihoods. JSS plans to create self-help groups (SHGs), promote livelihood cells, and establish market linkages under the ministry's guidelines.

Kohima College launches entrepreneurship development course

The director further announced that two villages will be selected to establish community-based training centres and production centres for honeybee and bamboo craft. This initiative will be implemented in collaboration with various departments under the Kiphire district to ensure its success.

Tsadiba appealed to all departments, village council chairmen, and organisations in Kiphire district to support the implementation of these schemes and make the most of this opportunity.
