- DIMAPUR — Jalukie sub-division under Peren
district has bade farewell to its outgoing additional deputy commissioner
(ADC), TL Kiusumong Tikhir, during a programme held on Tuesday at his office.
The programme was chaired by EAC of Jalukie, Sizin Rentta.
- In his farewell speech, Kiusumong stated that he had an
enriching and fulfilling stay in Jalukie and added that he would carry back a
lot of fond memories which would continue to influence him for the rest of his
life. He also thanked all the officers from various departments in the
sub-division, civil societies, town councilors, GBs, VCCs, women and youth
organisations for their constant support and cooperation during his tenure as
ADC of Jalukie, stated a DIPR report.
- Stating that various issues in the sub-division could be
addressed amicably only because of team work, he urged the gathering to render
the same support and cooperation to the incoming ADC for the progress of the
sub-division.

- The farewell programme also saw short speeches from various
sub-divisional level officers, leaders of civil societies, town councilors,
women and youth organisation and other well-wishers, who expressed their
appreciation and gratitude to the outgoing ADC for rendering selfless services
for the benefit of the people during his stay at Jalukie as ADC. They have
described him as one of the most efficient, dynamic, humble and straightforward
officers.
