Dimapur, May 15 (EMN): Minister for Public Health Engineering, Jacob Zhimomi has expressed grief at the demise of K Medom Angami on May 11 at Dimapur. A note expressing message of condolence was received on Tuesday.
Zhimomi said Medon was a prominent figure who served the society in various ways for many years.
His contribution to the people as a social leader and a senior political leader will be remembered and cherished for years to come, he added.
The minister lamented that his demise is a loss to the people of Nagaland in general and BJP in particular.
Zhimomi expressed his condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
Also, the head office of Nagaland Contractors’ and Suppliers’ Union (NCSU) has conveyed its condolence to the bereaved family members of Medom, who was its member.
Expressing regret over the loss of ‘a man of principle and true leader,’ the union said the vacuum created by his demise would be difficult to fill.
The union prayed to the Almighty God to grant solace to the bereaved family and the departed soul to rest in peace.
