DIMAPUR — The Ghaspani I and II mandal-level training programme under the Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Mahabhiyan was held in Chümoukedima on Thursday.

Highlighting the party’s guiding principle of “nation first", Zhimomi said that such training programmes are not merely election-orientated but are designed to deepen engagement with the people and ensure last-mile delivery of government schemes.
He also underscored the importance of self-reliance, encouraging youth to take advantage of initiatives like Start-Up India. Observing that Nagaland remains largely a salaried economy and dependent on agriculture, he called for focused efforts on human resource development, entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihoods.
The Prashikshan Mahabhiyan is a flagship organisational initiative of the BJP aimed at capacity building and ideological orientation of party karyakartas at all levels. The programme focuses on imparting knowledge about the party’s history, ideology, organisational structure, governance models, and public outreach strategies.
It also equips participants with practical skills in communication, leadership, social media engagement, and effective implementation of welfare schemes.
