Dimapur, June 30 (EMN): With the next state general elections scheduled in 2023, minister of Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Jacob Zhimomi, has urged the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers to put in more efforts and strengthen the party.
He was speaking at the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, (BJYM) state executive meeting at Chümoukedima Town Council hall on Thursday. He urged the party workers to go back to the people and strengthen the party. He stated that it should be the endeavour of the party to unite the country for peace, progress, and prosperity under the BJP government.
He expressed confidence that BJP could deliver more to the citizens of the country. He further deliberated on the various schemes implemented in the state under the initiative of the BJP government.
Hosheto Awomi, president of BJYM Nagaland, has sought collective effort, mutual understanding, and team spirit for building the basic structure of the organisation.
On the recently announced “Agnipath” scheme, he said it will instill patriotism and motivate the youth to serve in the armed forces for a period of four years.
Arvind Dhamani, BJYM national executive members and in-charge of BJYM Meghalaya, also encouraged the members to work hard and propagate the good work of its leaders to the citizens.
The welcome address was delivered by Shiyeto Wotsa, president of Dimapur BJYM, and the introductory session was led by Imnaningkum Longkumer, BJYM state general secretary.
